Best steaks in or near chicago

Last time I went I got a 40 dollar comp. In years past this was plenty for dinner for one. With recent increases in price I had to bust out some extra cash ordering a filet, baked potato and ceasar salad. bill was over $60 not counting the tip...service has gone way down. I had to ask for bread and the baked potato has that hours old kept warm taste. Not acceptable at all for the prices. Steak and salad were good but smaller portions than I remember and with a price bump. I was one of only 2 tables dining that evening 530 on a Friday night and yet still didn't have an attententive waitress. This is supposed to be 4 star dining. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill on my beverage or wait for plates to be taken away. Got another 40 dollar comp to this place hoping that when I go next week it will be significantly better than my last trip a couple months ago.. still expecting to have to pull out extra money which also sucks. When you get a comp to the steakhouse it should at least cover dinner for one.
